Calella

Calella, certified in FAMILY TOURISM, SPORTS TOURISM and CYCLING TOURISM, which hosts a large number of sporting and cultural events, and somewhere to enjoy the nice beach and shopping at the  mall in the center of town.


Calella receives this recognition for being a good example of how the sport is a tool for health, social cohesion, education and respect, values promoted by the association ACES.

Beaches

Main Beach

Length: 1,403 metres, golden sand and moderate waves, disabled access and a range of facilities such as public toilets, showers, beach bars and restaurants, lifeguards and first aid services, sun loungers, parasols and sports and children’s activities. It carries the blue flag for European beaches.

Garbí Beach

Length: 814 metres, golden sand, moderate waves, disabled access. Certified as Q (quality) and with the Blue Flag. It offers showers, public toilets, beach bars and restaurants, sun loungers and parasols. There are also first aid services and police vigilance.

Les Roques Beach

Length: 750 metres, rocks and golden sand, calm waters. This beach is made up of several small bays with large rocks, such as Roca Grossa, from which one can practice angling and snorkelling. It is considered an important natural landscape because of its beauty and its proximity to the lighthouse and the Torretes (the little towers) of Calella. Nudist area. It has a first-aid service and police vigilance, as well as showers and a restaurant/bar.
