Sant Feliu de Guíxols Monastery
Sant Feliu de Guíxols Monastery is the most important and significant architectural feature in the area and is a National Cultural Heritage Site. The walled enclosure had thirteen towers and five portals and still retains important features such as its Romanesque Porta Ferrada (from the 10th century and one of the town’s symbols). Currently the monastery is the headquarters of the city’s History Museum.
