The Museum-Municipal Archive of Calella researches, preserves and disseminates the city's historical and artistic heritage. Originally founded in June 1959 on the initiative of a group of people from Calella, it was not until 1979 that its collections, distributed in different rooms and sections, were opened to the public.
On the ground floor you will visit the rooms of the textile industry, old tools and trades, the history of the Calella overseas trade, malacology, archeology, numismatics, mineralogy and ceramics. On the other hand, on the stairs there are a series of drawings and paintings by the local artist Lluís Gallart i Garcia.
On the first floor you can visit the current temporary exhibition and on the second you will find the reproduction of a traditional kitchen, the dressing rooms and the reconstruction of the old pharmacy Barri, modernist style, with all the tools and original furniture.
Calella Tourism Museum

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm to 9pm. Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prices: normal visit 2 €. Reduced visit 1 €. Admission is free on the first Sunday of the month.
Calella Lighthouse Interpretation Center
The Center aims to explain its communication relations with its environment from three points of view:
- Maritime communications, due to their intrinsic function of orienting boats.
- The terrestrial communications, through the optical telegraphy that we can contemplate in the Turrets, touching the Lighthouse.
- Urban communication with the city through the church bells and the various bell towers.
The contents are explained in an entertaining way through audiovisuals and texts in three languages: Catalan, Spanish and English.The Center is designed to be visited by both adults and children and for this reason has several interactive and participatory games aimed at young people.
Outside the Center, the facility has an excellent viewpoint from which you can enjoy privileged views of the city of Calella, the sea and the coast and beyond, the mountains of the Montnegre i Corredor natural park.

Dalmau Park anti-aircraft shelters
The Dalmau Park Anti-Aircraft Shelter was put into operation in 1937. Calella City Council, in collaboration with the Democratic Memorial, restored and signposted the Dalmau Park Anti-Aircraft Shelter to make it visitable, inaugurating the space on April 11, 2010 and including it in the Network of Spaces of the Memory of Catalonia.
The visit is complemented by explanatory panels and its own museography, as well as the audiovisual "Testimonies of War" where several people from Calella explain their experiences during the years of the civil war and the postwar period.

Selva Maritima Trail Tossa de Mar 2022
Selva Marítima Trail, with a route that will start in Tossa, pass through Lloret and end in Blanes after about 23km of beaches, cliffs, rocks, pine forests, agaves, botanical gardens, boardwalks, seagulls and cormorants. Always by the sea, descending to coves where it can only be accessed on foot, such as the Morisca, and also crossing up to three Botanical Gardens that are an icon of the Costa Brava: Santa Clotilde, Pinya de Rosa and Mar i Murtra.
The arrival, finally, to the Paseo de Mar de Blanes with Sa Palomera as a witness to a great running party.
Calella Folk Festival 20/6-02/7/2022
Church Square - Free admission with limited capacity-
Dance and music go hand in hand to express the identity of a people. Their cultural legacy is transmitted over the years through popular dances and the accompanying melodies, which are the most vivid example of a country. From South Africa to Western Asia, passing through Europe and South America, all peoples show their identity through their traditional dances, and each year they have a meeting point in Calella with the International Festival of Folklore and Music Bands.

Sant Pere Summer Festival in Tossa de Mar
From June 23rd to July 4th, Tossa celebrates the Summer Festival in honor of Sant Pere, the patron saint of fishermen. Events such as the singing of habaneras, the listening of sardanas with the Flame de Farners or the traditional procession of Sant Pere coincide in dates with the Rumba and Catalan song festival, the Children's Amusement Fair, the bonfire of Sant Joan or the gastronomic campaign of Noodles in the Casserole. A great way to welcome the summer and reconnect with the party, the culture and our traditions.

NEC 2022
The NEC is a consolidated festival of Calella summer nights. The warm days invite you to enjoy the nights, when the sun goes down and the Mediterranean breeze cools the streets. This is when the smell and sound of the sea invades the city. In Calella we are very sensitive to this feeling and love enjoying together. We fill the terraces and the promenade seems like a parade. In summer, when the holidays allow us to stay up till late and be lazy in the morning is when music and shows conquer the city.

Ital Youth Sound Calella
Reggae music will be the protagonist of the summer in Calella with the return of a festival born in 2019 by the local association Ital Youth Sound.
The main novelty is that the program is expanded and diversified beyond the concerts on the beach.
The intention is for the festival to last many more hours and not only will there be concerts, but we will be scheduling free social and cultural activities.
Festival of Santa Cristina
Each year, the party begins on the eve of Santa Cristina day, the 23rd July, with a street parade. On the actual day, the 24th July, the procession leaves the church of Sant Romà at 8.00 in the morning and accompanies the image of patron saint by boat from the main beach to the little chapel of Santa Cristina; while the S'Amorra amorra regatta is held. When the crowd arrives at the chapel, they are given breakfast. In the afternoon the Ball de Plaça is danced in the town square, followed by sardanas. The festival draws t a close on the night of the 26th, with a firework display.

Every year on Saturday before the Catalonia Open, starts the Catalunya Open International Darts a week of competitions combining darts and free time in Calella. A perfect warm-up for the double date of the weekend and a excellent plain for familys and friends. The programming of individual competitions, couples and triplets, both male, female and mixed, allowing to have competitions of darts for the whole family and for those who seek a good atmosphere of darts and leisure at the same time.

31st Jazz and Blues festival in Calella
On September 15 till 18, in Calella we celebrate the 31st Jazz and Blues festival with 13 activities. Most of them are free but there are the two main concerts that are held on Saturday and have a price of € 15.

Calella-Costa de Barcelona Half Marathon
The Maresme coast, with Calella at its epicenter, is hosting the 13th edition of the Costa Barcelona Maresme Half Marathon. A classic test of the half marathon calendar in Catalonia and with a very flat route, ideal for making a personal mark. Up to 1,000 runners will be able to compete in this event, which passes through the towns of Calella, Pineda de Mar, Santa Susanna and Malgrat de Mar. Everything, just a few meters from the coast so that the circuit is flat.

Local Festivals Calella
Calella has two town festivals, that of Sant Quirze and Santa Julita on the 16th June (patrons of the town) and that of Minerva, on the 23rd September, The festival of patron saints on the 16th June is also known as the “little festival”. People come out to eat in the streets and all of Calella’s various organisations play a very active part in the different events. The Festa Major de la Minerva on the 23rd September is the “big festival”. It has a bit of everything: the call to the festa major, the giants’ parade, the dance of the pubilla (the girl in traditional costume), outdoor bars for the young people, concerts and more.
III Epic Costa Brava BTT
Tossa de Mar will be the venue for the "EPIC COSTA BRAVA", a mountain bike event that will become a must-see for all lovers of cycling and the best landscapes of the Costa Brava.
The landscapes of Tossa de Mar and the blue of the Mediterranean as the background of the test that has two routes, one of 34 km and another of 74 km, which will test the endurance of the most experienced participants.
