What is the cancellation policy / NO SHOW?

In the event that the customer decides to cancel the booking, the hotel will keep the amount paid at the time of booking, as expenses of cancellation, or if the client requests it, we can save it for being deducted in a future reservation by the same customer and within the next 12 months after canceling the booking. 

In case of NO SHOW, the client would pay the 100% of the total booking.


And if I want to leave before the scheduled departure date?

In the event that the client decides to leave the hotel before the scheduled departure date, the establishment will remain with 50% of the total of the services not provided as long as the client claims it before leaving the hotel.


How can I cancel my booking?

You can cancel your booking from "My booking" section, located in the upper right corner of our web page. It will be necessary to enter the email address that was provided when making the booking (in the "user" box) and the password provided in the confirmation email that was received at the time of making the booking.

You can also request the cancellation by contacting the Call Center by phone (0034937691234), by e-mail (callcenter@ghthotels.com) or by chat (available on our website), or contacting with the hotel, by phone or e-mail. 


How can I modify my booking?

You can modify your booking from “My booking" section, located in the upper right corner of our web page. It will be necessary to enter the email address that was provided when making the booking (in the "user" box) and the password provided in the confirmation email that was received at the time of making the booking.

Any data (dates, number of people and rooms, extras, etc.) may be modified, except for the hotel. If by mistake you have selected another hotel when making the booking, you will need to contact the Call Center by telephone (0034937691234), by e-mail (callcenter@ghthotels.com) or by chat (available on our website).

Changes may be subject to the availability of the establishment.


I want to subtract/add days to my booking, but now the price is more expensive per day than when I made the booking and, if I modify it through the web, the original price is not maintained. What can I do?

How much is the tourist tax? Is it included in the price of the booking?

The tourist tax (0.50€ per person/day in 3 star hotels and 1€ per person/day in 4 star hotels) is not included in the booking price. This fee does not apply to people up to 16 years old and it is only applicable the first seven days of stay. Payable upon arrival at the hotel. 


I want to pay 100% of my reservation before arrival. How can I do it?

What payment methods are accepted?

At the time of making the booking, you can pay the deposit with credit or debit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON O MASTER CARD) or by bank transfer, by contacting the Call Center by phone (0034937691234), by e-mail (callcenter @ ghthotels.com) or by chat (available on our website). In the latter case, the booking will not be confirmed until the transfer is received. In the GHT SA RIERA hotel, you can also make the payment of the deposit through PAYPAL.

Once in the hotel, you can pay with credit or debit card (VISA, VISA ELECTRON O MASTER CARD) or in cash.


Can I use the gift boxes to pay for my booking? How can I use them?

Any gift box (Smartbox, Wonderbox, CofreVip, etc ...) will be accepted as payment of a booking made via the GHT website.

Most gift boxes need to be managed from the gift web site, but in some cases (such as Wonderbox), you will need to contact the hotel directly to check availability, providing all the gift box information, if the booking can be made.


When I have made my booking, I got a message to share on Facebook and receive a discount coupon. How does it work?

If you share on Facebook that you have booked at a GHT hotel (through the link provided at the end of the booking), you will receive a coupon in your email and, once you are at the hotel, we will exchange that coupon for a pre-paid card of 5€ to use at the bar or restaurant.


How can I get the Early Booking or Long Stay discounts?

The prices that appear on our website always have all the active discounts applied automatically (you can check the details by clicking on the green "i" that appears next to the prices), except for those discounts corresponding to promo codes.


I have a promo code, how can I use it?

The promo codes must be entered in the search engine of our website, at the time you select the hotel, the dates and the number of rooms and people, by clicking "I have a promo code".


I have a 5€ voucher that I received at the hotel during my last stay, how does it work?

To use the 5€ discount voucher offered at the hotel during your last stay, you must enter the promo code that appears on this voucher at the time of the search on our website.


We are a large family. How can we benefit from the 10% discount?

If you are a large family and have a valid FANOC or FEFN card, we offer you an additional 10% discount. You must request your promo code at info@ghthotels.com. And remember to bring your original and current card to the hotel (without the original and valid card, the discount on the invoice will not be applied, copies will not be admitted in any case). The discount will be applied for reservations for card holders and always in the case of family travel (not applicable if only one member of the family is staying at the hotel). 


We want to book a room for more than 4 people. What options we have?

We have rooms or apartments for more than 4 people in the GHT BALMES Hotel, Aparthotel & Splash, in the GHT MARITIM hotel and in the Aparthotel GHT TOSSA PARK. 

On the other hand, we also have the option to book two rooms connected by a door in several of the GHT hotels.

How can I become a member of the GHT CLUB and what advantages will I have?

To be a member of CLUB GHT, you only have to register in our database, through the "CLUB GHT" section of our website (top of the page), by clicking on the red letters "Please register now". You will receive an e-mail with your user data (remember to check the spam folder if you see that you have not received the e-mail in the main tray).

To redeem the points you only have to search for your stay from your GHT CLUB account and, before accepting the booking, click on the option where we inform you of the points you have at that moment and where you accept to use them in that booking.


I am a member of CLUB GHT, but I do not remember my data. What should I do?

What time can we check in?

The room will be ready from 2:00 p.m. If you arrive earlier, you can enjoy our facilities and start doing the check in at reception.


I will arrive late at the hotel. Until what time can I check-in?

You can check-in 24 hours a day (keep in mind that in the case of the APARTHOTEL GHT TOSSA PARK, if you arrive at night, you must call the bell located at the door of the entrance).


What time should I leave the room?

The check-out is until 12:00.


If I book half board or full board and the day of entry I do not arrive in time to make the first dinner, can I replace it with another meal?

If you do not arrive in time for the first dinner, you must notify the hotel in advance and you will be able to substitute it for another meal (lunch), in case you have half board. There is also the option to request in advance that we prepare a cold dinner for you, for when you arrive at the hotel, by contacting the hotel or the Call Center by phone (0034937691234) or by chat (available on our website).


If I book half board, can I substitute dinner for lunch?

Whenever the hotel offers full board, you can substitute dinner for lunch, notifying reception and always taking into account the restaurant's schedule.


If I book full board, can I substitute lunch on the day of departure for lunch on the day of arrival?

By default, the full board starts with the first day's dinner and ends with the last day's lunch. If you want to start your stay with lunch and leave with breakfast, you should only mention it at the reception upon arrival, taking into account the restaurant's schedule.


Once I am at the hotel, can I change my diet?

Before arriving at the hotel, you can change your diet, modifying your booking.

Once you are already staying at the hotel, we can only modify your booking to change your diet (both to extend from bed and breakfast to half board or full board, or vice versa) in case you have booked directly with GHT HOTELS. In the case of having booked through another channel (such as Booking, Expedia, on-line agency, agency, etc ...), you can access the buffet of our restaurant whenever you want, paying the corresponding supplement.


Once I am at the hotel, can I change the room type?

Before arriving at the hotel, you can change the room type, modifying your booking, as long as there is availability and taking into account the difference in price.

Once you are at the hotel, you can also ask for the change in reception, whenever there is availability, paying the supplement for the room type.


Can I add extra meals to my booking?

If you select the option of bed and breakfast or half board, you can add the extra meals you need, at the time of booking on our website and also directly at the hotel.


If I book half board or full board, but someday I do not want to eat at the hotel, can I replace it with another meal or picnic?

In the event that you have half board, and if at that time the hotel offers full board, you can substitute dinner for lunch if you ask for it before at reception. On the other hand, if you have full board or half board, you can ask for a picnic, notifying it at reception one day before, before 7:00 p.m.


Are drinks included in meals?

Drinks are not included in meals, but you can add them to your booking as an extra. You can also book the pre-paid card for drinks of the restaurant and/or bar, which will give you discounts on your drinks. Our spas are exclusively accessible for guests staying at the hotel.


Can children access the spa?

Children can only access the heated pool. Access to the spa is forbidden for those under 16 years old, with the exception of the GHT MARITIM hotel (where they can access the wellness area) and the GHT COSTA BRAVA&SPA hotel (where they can access the spa during the children's schedule).


Is access to the wellness areas and spas of the GHT hotels free?

At the GHT COSTA BRAVA&SPA, the GHT OASIS PARK&SPA and GHT MARITIM hotels, the spas or wellness areas are free for all customers. Is the heated pool operational all season?

Do GHT hotels accept pets?

Small dogs of a maximum weight of 10kg and of race considered "not dangerous" are accepted at the GHT XALOC (Platja d'Aro, Girona), the GHT NEPTUNO (Tossa de Mar, Girona) and the GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH (Calella, Barcelona). Check prices and conditions directly with the hotel and make the booking. The hotel will not accept dogs without prior booking.

In the GHT hotels, with the exception of the MIRATGE hotel, which is only for adults over 16 years old, we offer many facilities for family living and resting at the same time. You will have at your disposal:
