What is the cancellation policy?
If you choose one of our exclusive member rates and you're not already registered, you will be automatically registered as a member of CLUB GHT and you will be able to benefit from the better price and many other advantages.
- FLEXIBLE WEB RATE: direct payment to the hotel and free cancellation up to 48 hours before
- OFFER RATE: payment of 40% at the time of formalizing the reservation and free cancellation up to 8 days before the date of entry
- LONG STAY RATE: 30% payment at the time of formalization free reservation and cancellation up to 15 days before the date of entry
- PROMO RATE: 100% payment at the time of booking. It does not allow modification or cancellation
What time can I arrive at the hotel?
From 15:00h to 00:00h.
What time do I have to leave the room?
From 08:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
Is it necessary to pay a deposit when checking into the accommodation?
If you stay in one of our apartments or studios, we will request a €60 deposit upon arrival, which will be refunded to you after the apartment or studio is inspected on the day of departure.
This deposit will also be requested from groups with reservations for any accommodation option in the establishment.
What are the opening hours for the swimming pools, spa and gym?
- Pools: 09:00-20:00
- Outdoor hydromassage pool: 10:00 – 20:00
- Children's water park: 10:00 – 19:00

What are the restaurant's opening hours?
- 7:30-9:45

How should I make my reservation if I am accompanied by children?
- To stay with children in an extra bed in the parents' room, it must be reserved specifying how many children are coming, how old they are and how many rooms they want, for the system to search and propose the different options.
- Children from 0 to 2 years old always have free accommodation, but they must be included in the booking to have a cot in the room. Otherwise, they will not have one.
- 1st child aged 2 to 12, in a double room with 2 adults, in high season pays only 40%. Rest of the season, pay only 20%.
- Second child up to 12 years old in a room with 2 adults, always has 50% dte.
- No more beds can be added to the rooms than stipulated in the reservation engine
Does the hotel have laundry service?
No, the GHT Balmes Hotel, Aparthotel & SPLASH*** does not offer a laundry service .
Can I stay with my dog?
At the GHT Balmes Hotel, Aparthotel & SPLASH accepts one dog per room maximum 20kg (others, check with the hotel or Call Center directly).

I am a minor and I will stay in one of your hotels without my parents / legal guardians.
In this case, you must send us the corresponding authorization signed by the parents or legal guardians, where there is their contact information, by contacting the hotel or with the Call Center by phone (0034937691234), by e-mail (callcenter@ghthotels.com) or by chat (available on our website).
You can also hand in the aforementioned authorization upon your arrival at the hotel, during check-in.
Without this authorization, the hotel will not be able to accommodate the minor.
I have a food intolerance. Can I eat at the buffet of the hotel?
If you have a food intolerance, you must contact the hotel directly or our Call Center to discuss your case.
If you are celiac, allergic or sensitive to gluten, you can inform us in the comments of your reservation or by contacting us, so that we take it into account and have all the gluten-free products, as well as all the dishes on our special gluten-free menu (with a supplement to be paid at the hotel)*, in case you prefer that option, instead of the options offered in our buffet.
If you are lactose intolerant, you can also indicate it in the comments of your reservation or by contacting us, so that we take it into account and have products suitable for you.
Can I take photos or videos with a drone during my stay?
It is not permitted to take photos or videos with drones within the hotel facilities, for safety and privacy reasons, ensuring compliance with the LOPD at all times.
If you want to fly a drone to record images, you must request permission from the corresponding Town Hall and comply with AESA (State Aviation Safety Agency) regulations.
If you receive municipal authorisation, you will have a maximum of 5 days to carry out the recordings and, in addition, if you want to film inside or from our facilities, you must request prior authorisation from us, and you may only do so if we give you explicit written permission.

Please respect the common areas and rooms, and respect the silence and rest. At the hotel, besides yourselves, there are other guests here to enjoy their holidays, relax, and disconnect
• Security deposit
Every year we invest in maintaining the facilities. For this reason, a deposit will be requested upon your arrival, which will be refunded on your departure day once we verify that you have respected the facilities, have not damaged or dirtied anything beyond reasonable use, and that no items are missing from the room or the hotel
• Relationship with our staff
The hotel staff are here to provide service during your stay. We kindly ask you to respect them as they will respect you and as they deserve
• Group supervisors
We need group supervisors (teachers, instructors, guides, parents, etc.) to supervise the members of your groups and ensure everything runs smoothly. Above all, that the rules of coexistence are respected: schedules, avoiding offensive behaviour, good treatment towards other guests and hotel staff, etc.
How can I get to the hotel?
BY PLANE
From Girona airport (about 40km)
Bus: you can take a bus (from the Sagalés company) from Girona airport to the bus station of Blanes and from there you can take another bus to Calella.
GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH is located about 150 meters from the St.Jaume-Pl. de les Roses (Callela) bus stop.
You can also take a bus (from the Moventis-Sarfa company) from Girona airport to Lloret de Mar station and from there take another bus (from the Sagalés company) to Calella.
Train: you can take a bus to Girona train station, and there you can take the train to Maçanet-Massanes, where you would take another train to Calella.
GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH is located about 450 meters from Calella train station. You can get to the hotel on foot, or take the 691 Pineda-Calella bus, from the Sagalés company, getting off at the Rierany dels Frares - Argentina stop, and then walking for about 2 minutes to the hotel.
From Barcelona airport (about 70 km)
Bus: you can take a bus (from the Sagalés company) from Barcelona airport to Calella.
GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH is located about 150 meters from the St.Jaume-Pl. les Roses (Calella) bus stop.
Train: you can take a train at Barcelona airport to Barcelona-Sants station and from there take the R1 Line towards Blanes, Maçanet-Massanes or Figueres / Portbou (along the coast), and get off at the Calella stop.
GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH is located about 450 meters from Calella train station. You can get to the hotel on foot, or take the 691 Pineda-Calella bus, from the Sagalés company, getting off at the Rierany dels Frares - Argentina stop, and then walking for about 2 minutes to the hotel.

You can get to Calella by train, taking the R1 line of RENFE company.
GHT BALMES HOTEL, APARTHOTEL & SPLASH is located about 450 meters from Calella train station. You can get to the hotel on foot (approx. 20 min.), or take the 691 Pineda-Calella bus, from the Sagalés company, getting off at the Rierany dels Frares - Argentina stop, and then walk for about 2 minutes to the hotel.

You can get to Calella by bus, with the following companies, depending on where you travel from:

If you travel from the airport, you can also take a taxi directly from there.
BY CAR
Northbound
Traveling on the AP-7, you must take the exit 12B towards C-60 La Roca del V./Mataró, then take the exit on C-32, towards Girona / Mataró (Oest).
On the C-32, you must take the exit 122 Calella / Pineda de Mar / Santa Susanna.
You can also get to Calella through the N-II.
Southbound
By the AP-7, you must arrive until the exit of Lloret / Blanes / Malgrat.
At Vidreres you must take the N-II to Calella.
